This is the softest coat I have ever purchased. Everyone in the house was passing it around to feel the softness. It is not too thick, but perfect for those 35-55 F degree days. My daughter wears a 7-8 and I bought a size 7-8. It fits her well. The jacket is fitted, so if you want to wear it with a thicker sweater, order a size bigger. My older kids are asking for the same jacket due to softness.I bought this coat for my grand daughter for middle school because her school does not have lockers. She has not used it yet so I don't know how easy it is to put in the pocket on a daily basis & put it in her bookbag. I bought it because it was longer than other packable coats that I had looked at. The sleeves run short but we kept it anyway.I like that it is light weight great for mild weather. I also like how easy it is to pack away in kids back pack.Fits great, looks great! Perfect!Bought it as a gift for my daughter. It fits and it is lighter weight. Great for securing her in the car seat. The zipper is awful. It is plastic and very difficult to start the zipper.A coat for my daughter.This brand Urban Republic zippers are too hard for kids to use- even as an adult you have to push hard to get the ends to meet before you start to zip up.Material is super soft- zipper super frustrating!!!Item received last night. The two ends of zipper were difficult to fit into each other. Most surprisingly thing is there is a hole at the wristband. Definitely will return it.
